I mistakenly uninstalled 4.5, installed 5 and when I found some missing features in 5 I attempted to reinstall 4.5 but 5 wouldn't allow it. Even when 5 was uninstalled, traces of it must have been left in the Windows registry as it still wouldn't let me install 4.5. The SF folk couldn't come up with a workable fix and I had to reformat, install 4.5 and then install 5. That worked but it was a drastic pain!

For example, say you have SF 4.5c on CD, you install it, then download and install the 4.5h update from our website. Now, if you delete all the SF 4.5 files from your hard drive without using Add/Remove Programs or the equivalent, you will not be able to install 4.5c again because according to the Windowsr registry 4.5h is still installed. This is most likely the cause of the trouble you were having, not 5.0. NOTE: If anyone is experiencing this problem or a similar problem.
