Subject:Timestretching and Removing Pops on vinyl....

I'm attempting to timestretch a gong sample, but I have maybe about 1/2 of the sample. I'm trying to get a oscilating type of effect that lasts for several seconds. But the Sonic Foundry and Cakewalk plug ins wont allow me to do that beyond 2-3 second. Are there any other ways to achieve this?

Also I sampled this gong off of an old LP. Is there an effective way to remove the pops and hiss? Any help would be appriciated. Thanks! :)

In order to remove the hiss/noise you need the Noise reduction plug-in. To remove clicks and pops you can do it manually in SF 5.0 but to remove it all well you need that NR plug-in again!

On this website, of course! But, there are also other DX plug-ins out there. Do a web search.

yuo could try to timestretch and reverbate and pitchshift the gong and use that as impulse in acoustic mirror.
