Subject:Question about ACID Pro

Before I decide to buy this program I have a question that I can't seem to find the answer to on the web site's descriptions.

I know that you can set the key of the project (i.e. C, Eb, G, etc.), but can you change it from measure to measure (or by individual track) or is it only a one time thing you set at the beginning which stays the same all the way through?

Yes, you can insert key changes in a project at different points, as well as globally changing key of the entire project. You insert key changes by positioning the cursor where you want the change in your project and pressing the 'K' key.

So can seperate tracks be in different keys at the same point? Or does it affect the whole project each time you change the key at a specific point?

Everytime you key change, it changes the key accross the whole time line. (All tracks)

See ya

You can also change the key of specific events on a track by selecting that event (clicking on it so that it becomes highlighted) and then using the + and - keys on the numpad to change the key of the event. You may need to spilt the events in order to get your desired effect.
