I also heard them say that XP 32 bit was now supported. I know several people were asking about that in these forums, myself included. It looks like a great plug in package with alot of capabilities. Message last edited on11/3/2010 2:45:20 PM byHogwild. |

Darn it all. I had signed up for it but it was at 5 AM down here and after a late night I plain slept right through it. I would say Vegas is now in about the same position as Avid MC which ships with an effects package included in the price. The reservation I have about both Vegas and Avid MC is they're primary role is a NLE and trying to get an NLE to work like a dedicated compositing program is diabolically difficult. Avid do have a system that seems to do both, Avid DS. It costs a fortune and by all accounts has an incredible learning curve. Not to say that it is now easier for packages like BCC7 to work with Vegas is not a good thing. Many basic tasks can now be done within the NLE but that does not mean that for the more complex tasks there isn't a need for a dedicated compositing program in the tool kit. This is not something that Boris or Red Giant can solve, the problem is rooted deeply inside how the host app works. Bob. |

I too agree that the webinar was just great. I've been using the trial for a couple weeks now and have become totally addicted to its functionality. At one point I was contemplating going to after effects and CS5, but I'm happy with that phase has passed passed. The amount of money that Adobe wants for its products is outrageous and won't even consider upgrades to its customers that have used other products. All I can say is that Boris is making Vegas 10 and amazingly attractive product. With the introductory pricing of Boris and $139 upgrade for Vegas 10 – it can't be beat. I hope for us keeps up the webinars to great way to get a handle on so many functions that are available with BCC. |

If you missed the webinar, they said they will be posting it on their site soon (I didn't hear exactly when, but I'd give it a couple of weeks at least...) and they also mentioned (at least in the Q & A box) that they would be planning on adding more tutorials in the future to their website. I just sprung for an upgrade to Vegas Pro10 from Movie Studio Platinum and ordered a new second monitor, so purchasing the BCC7 even at an intro price is out for me for now. They do have BCC units available though....hmmm. I was hoping to god I would win the give-away, but alas no, that would not happen. |

I'm pretty pissed off at Boris especially in Boris Red & Blue. The software is so dated and lame and hasn't had a real upgrade since anyone can remember. How many real programmers work there anyhow? Feels like Boris is dead in the water to me. Worst purchases I've ever made. |

@Dreamline Not sure if you have seen the webinar yesterday: if Boris Red 5 will be as good within Vegas we'll be in for a treat - you'll eat your words ! |
