Subject:Music Maker 8 help

Very new to this type of thing, so I apologise in advance if this is a dumb question :-(

I have made quite a nice track I am happy with: guitars, bass, sax, piano, drums etc

I have panned the bass and piano left and right respectively.

To add vocals, I am transferring it to a Zoom mrs1266 via CD
but when I play it in the zoom, everything seems jumbled together
and not very clear :-(

Any help would be much appreciated

How is the project being transferred via CD? CD audio? A WAV file on the CD itself? (I'm not familar with the MRS-1266, so...)
