I cannot figure out how to find my own posts in this forum. Is it under My Account? There must be a shortcut. |

Click in your name in a post you made. It will take you to your list of posts. Peter |

Thanks. That works. But...what if I make a post and then there are hundreds of posts after mine. Do I have to keep scrolling down looking for one of mine or is there someplace I can click in my account settings to find everything I have posted? By the way, do you know anybody in the DC area whom I could hire to teach me how to use Sony Music Studio 7? I am willing to pay $50 per hour for training. I can't even figure out how to delete a few seconds of music from a track. Everything I try simply leaves a blank spot in the middle of a track but I cannot delete the piece of time in the track. |

Yes, you will have to scroll to find your posts. I don't know of any training in the DC area. You should get the user manual from our download section, use the Show Me How built in to AMS, and check out the training section on our Web site. Eve though you are using AMS, the ACID tutorials will give a wealth of information. Peter |

Hi Peter, Okay, I was wondering if you could help me with another basic problem. I want to know how to delete a few seconds of music within a midi track. I did what you said and downloaded the manual. I read all 44 pages and there is not a even single sentence that covers deleting time within a track. Now I don't know about you but when I play music I make mistakes and would like to delete that portion of the track. Nobody else in the forum seems to know how to do this as I have gotten zero replies to that question. Please, please help me find somebody in the DC area whom I can hire to teach me how to use this tool. I will pay you a finders fee of $100 if you can find me a teacher. I've posted ads on Craigslist and in the Washington Post with zero responses. How can anybody ever learn how to use this thing? Thank you. Dave |
