I have been told to work on original music for my serial and I have been using the ACID Music Studio for some time now. This has all that I need. However, I am confused. If you put loops together from the libraries, does that make you the composer of the score you created? Any help would be appreciated. Big Bhim Pahlewan |

With whatever library you use, be absolutely sure you read the terms and agreements related to that library. Some want a note put somewhere like in the copyright; some don't require it. All the libraries from Sony Creative let you use its material in any professional projects you create. (In other words, you are the composer and you do not have to note that you used a Sony Creative library.) For other sources, like derivatives of copyrighted material (like samples from songs from known artists), you will have to get permission from the copyright owner first before using it in any professional manner. You don't want to get yourself in legal hot water down the line if you can help it. Iacobus |
