Recording/playback triggering from script -Sound Forge - Scripting

Subject:Recording/playback triggering from script Posted by: DanT Date:10/26/2010 3:36:32 AM Hallo, with the new cool features of SoundForge 10, like recording timer or threshold record triggering, I would like to ask, if there is planned (or already is) the ability to trigger the recording (and/or playback) from a script in a more controllable way than DoMenu(AndWait). I mean a way of triggering an event which would start/stop/pause recording/playback without the need to click on the record button (or press a key). I am not an expert, but it seems to me that when a timer or a threshold checker can trigger the recording, there should be a way to trigger it from scripts as well. Such feature would make SF even more valuable for us, ans especially for our voice talents using SF (extended by our recording plugin) for speech recording. Thank you very much for your answer.
