How can I apply reverb (echo) FX not only to a selected part, but to the part, which goes after selected part? Confusing description :)? Well, I'll give an example: say, I recorded me speaking "A, B, C, D..." I select part with "A", apply echo, but it goes for that "A" part only! I want echo to decreschendo over "B, C, D.." also. How can I do it? |

It will take some cutting and pasting. 1) open the file that has "A B C D" recorded. 2) place a marker between "A" and "B" -- this marker will define the end of the segment to which the echo will be applied. (You can also select the segement to which you want the echo applied, and then press "R" to create a region.) 3) select the segment to which you want the echo applied. 4) drag this segment to the workspace to create a new file that says "A." 5) apply your effects to this new file. 6) go to your original "A B D C" file and select the portion after the marker -- the "B C D" part. Copy it to the clipboard. 7) go back to your new file ("A" with the effects). Put the cursor where you want the material in the clipboard to be copied. 8) Go to Edit/Paste Special/Mix 9) Save the new file. |

Thanks, ftrobaugh, I invented the same way that you have just described yesterday while going to sleep :). See, good thought do not come only to one person. Anyway, thanks once time more. |
