I've been trying to create a cd using .dat files from a Terapin. I change the .dat file (video and audio) to MPEG1 using Videowave 4. Then I delete the video portion of the file and change it to a WMA file using premiere 6.0. The I dedit the file using Soundforge 5.0. When I use Soundforge to convert the WMA file to an MP3 and burn it to a cd, the file sounds like a chipmunk talking real fast when I play the cd on a cd player. Any thoughts? |

Somewhere along your conversion lines the sampling rate of your file has become less than 44,100 Hz (most likely 22,050 Hz or 11,025 Hz), you can try to determine where this is happening, or you could remember to resample the file back up to 44,100 Hz using the Resample function under the Process menu in Sound Forge before you burn your CD. |
