I hear that an audio card is what you need to run my korg into the acid, but I also hear that you can just buy a midi cable and midi it to the back of the tower. Which way is the best way? What is the difference for both? anyone? |

Hello, To get the best results, I would buy a good sound card and use the midi interface on the sound card. A good card to startout with is the Sound Blaster Live Platinum. It has the Live Drive which is a input output and midi interface for the sound card thats accessable from the front of the computer, And the card sounds good, Other than that I would buy a proffessionl card which would be alot more money for all the options that the SBL comes with. See ya |

i have to disagree with the last post...the SBP card has Lag(latency) issues. i personally purchased the Terratec 24/96 card and its about the same price and its WAY better! -Sin http://zwap.to/ft13 |

if you don't have an audio card already, how come you can hear anything from acid? |
