Post the file somewhere we can download it and someone here will be able to find a way to get at the extra audio.

Thanks. I'm new at this

I've just found that I can edit the MPG in AVS Video Editor and save the MPG.

I can then take the original MPG video (a bit better quality perhaps than that rendered with AVS) with the AVS audio track and get what I want.

However, there's something strange whenI have to use a $50 program suite to solve a problem with $600 software.

Am I missing something or am I being unfair to Vegas.

Thanks,

Mac

Do what MarkWWW suggested. Since you provided no file details or the codecs used, that is the only way someone will be able to help you.

Probably. But unless you let us have a look at the file in question we can't answer that question either.

You could try demux and mux program streams and try again.. There is sometimes problems with private streams.. i use TMPGEnc MPEG Editor 3 on such cases

What is the file extension? I use a free mux/demux utility for MPGs that Vegas does not recognize. M2V files for instance. I don't recall the name of the utility but I'll check it out when I get to my editing PC.
Adddendum: Smart Labs tsMuxer
