Track FX plugins-keep disappearing -ACID Product Family

Subject:Track FX plugins-keep disappearing Posted by: Casswebb Date:10/5/2010 10:46:14 PM I use many plugins with Sony Acid Pro 7. As many of you know, there are plugins which one can use with a midi keyboard (these are soft synths usually played through using a midi track) and there are the plugins which one can bring up through the Track FX (which are usually played through using guitar in an audio track). With me? Does anyone know how to stop the plugins disappearing from the Track FX window? The soft synths and plugins in the plugin manager window are there, but they keep disappearing in the Track FX window. For example, when I want to use Sonic Synth, I'll go to "insert soft synth" in the MIDI TRACK, as I'll be using my midi keyboard. That's fine. But If I want to insert some guitar into my AUDIO TRACK, then I go look for Amplitube Jimi Hendrix, which should be in the TRACK FX, it's gone! And It was there in my last session! And I shouldn't have to search all my drives everytime using Plugin Manager. I've also removed the following file (as per Peter) and have then re-started ACID, but can't keep doing it over and over again!!!! : C:\Users\<you>\AppData\Local\Sony\ACID Pro\7.0\acidpro.plugincache.xml So does anyone know how to stop plugins from disappearing in the Track FX window? They'll be there for a while and then they'll just disappear! Thanks.
