Hi!

I own Vegas Pro 8 and I just got a MIDI keyboard (Arturia Analog Factory). I have loads of unfinished songs saved as Vegas Pro 8 files. Can I open these in Acid Pro 7 and continue working on my songs adding MIDI tracks?

No you can't.
At best, you could save each audio track in your Vegas project as a rendered .wav file and then import each one into ACID Pro.
It's tedious.
It would be nice if one day the dev team who work on ACID and Vegas had the budget to make these 2 programs more interoperable like Adobe's Suite is.
At the moment you can't even open an ACID project in Vegas, so the converse is unlikely to happen anytime soon...
