OK..I bought Sony Movie Studio 2.5 months ago....Music Studio a few days ago. I just heavily edited footage I shot to make an under 15 minute video for uploading to my Youtube Channel. I made an OK music file (could be better but I'm a Newbie to MS)..but you go to save it....regardless of what you will do with it..it won't appear as a simple mp3 or whatever file that you can actually have some small amount of use of !!! |

Puzzled as to how can that be...top left..file..drop-down list....render as !! And it works creating a usable file. I wish I could have removed the previous post, but perhaps another Newbie may find both informative. Sorry..but I was frustrated when I made the previous post. John |

Yes, save saves the ACID project file which contains all the work you've done on the timeline. It contains all the edits, pitch changes, effects settings, tempo changes, etc. Basically it's everything you've done with the mouse or keyboard while creating your project. It does not contain any actual media. Render is how you create a new media file from your project. |
