Hey there.

Is there any way at all of making v3 work with NT.

I am thinking of upgrading, but want it to work on my editing system which is NT based and dont want the hassle of dual boot on my computer.

Thanks,
Mark.

I don't think so,
Acid 3 needs DX8 or higher. DX8 doesn't run on NT.
I could be wrong you should contact Sonic Foundry Customer Service.

drats, that is a bit of a pain.

i will have to stay with v2 for now then.

i think you are right, there is no directx v8 on microsoft's site for NT, only v6...

thanks,

why not try windows2000
acid 3.0 run smooth on it.
but you need to be careful on soundcard's driver.
Some pro soundcard doesn't have win2k driver
