Subject:A question about Acid runnning in Win98

I was helping a friend of mine install Acid 3.0 on Windows 98 but Acid 3.0 will not install.

He won't upgrade to Windows 98 Second Edition or Windows ME because he is running an older Professional Sound Card that does not support newer OS.

Is there a way to install Acid 3.0 onto the original Windows 98?

Acid is not supported on windows 98 original because directx 8a is not able to run on that version.

So I would say no there's no way.

You can buy a M-Audio 2448 prof. card for under $100.00
