Subject:Unable to open wav file

I CAN open MP3's, and AVI's and edit them, but when I try to open a wav file (even the ones included in the demo), nothing comes up on the screen. It shows that it's loading in the lower left hand corner, but no windows come up. What's the deal???

You might want to try to just uninstall and reinstall the software.
