Hi!

I really messed up. I had this perfect wave recording of a girl speaking a sentence and I brought it into Acid Pro (didn't back it up!!). Then I got too smart and edited it in Sonic Foundry and added a little reverb. When I got back to Acid Pro it was talking like a chipmunk and much shorter. I right clicked and it said to use the old tempo so I did and the rest of my project changed messing up everything else. I undid that thank God! When I edit the wav file in SF it sounds fine but in Acid Pro its all messed up.

How can I fix this?

Thanks!!!!
Rusty

Hello,

You can edit the Acid properties in Sound Forge, and when you do, if you keep the file as a one shot it wont change like that, but if you change it to a loop you have to give it the correct beats, the higher the number the slower the file will play. So raise your beats on the file and it will slow it down, or keep it as a one shot.

See ya
