Reinstalled Windows can't find presets -Sound Forge - PC

Subject:Reinstalled Windows can't find presets Posted by: JTelles Date:7/11/2001 1:07:30 PM I had some WaveHammer and Equalization presets, but after repeating the windows installation I can only locate, by name, the EQ presets in C:\ Program Files\Sonic Foundry\Sound Forge 5.0\Presets\{8B....}\.dxp. I also find a file (untitled).sfx on the same location. The question is: The new SF 5.0b (same as previous) installed cannot recognize the presets, even though they seem to be in the right folder. I manage to get the EQs by creating phony ones and swaping the names for the previous ones, but the WaveHammer presets seem to be somewhere else... Does any one have any ideas on this? Incidently none of the files are .sfz as I expected them to be. JTelles
