The latest update adds Presonus Faderport support.

What type of improvements are you looking for in our VST support? The more specific you are, the better.

For vst plugs I can’t use, the only ones that really matter to me are;
liquid mix
IK multimedia 670, and Pultec
these just don't work at all (stable)

have trouble with oversampling vst plugs
Refined audiometrics, causes instability, only in vegas,
prob because of plugin oversampling, as any oversampling plugs i use don't mix well with veg.
as the number of them goes up things choke in a way that is not related to cpu or ram, or buffer settings
if i have 2 apps running, both using oversampling plugs, eventually as plug count rises vegas will have difficulty playing (like buffers filling up),
workaround has been to isolate vegas by core restrictions, ie vegas gets core 1,2&3, the other app gets core 4.
if i run a session in appX, i don't have this problem

general trouble with stability..
definitely caused by vst's,
often see the 'sf vstwrapper dll' in crash reports,

i absolutely can't add a vst on the fly, cos very likely to crash vegas
yet i can add vst's with seamless playback on other apps

the point is;
i can run all plugs on same pc no problems with other app...is only vegas


functionality;
sidechain support, like every other app....

I have the same problems. I can run pretty much unlimited amounts of stock f/x that come with Vegas, and a few other VSTs, but i have just about every IK Multimedia VST they have, and past 2-3 it just skips and skips, and nothing i've done solves it (i.e. buffering, prioritizing, stopping other apps etc) although i don't have a problem with crashing, but, i would like to get this problem solved asap!!

Any chance Vegas 10 will have a new surround panner say for 7.1 surround mixing? Sorry if this is in the wrong thread, I just seen Veg10 and figured this thread was about the upcoming version.
