Hi!

I've read the manual and all about the chopper but am not clear on what you use it for! Can someone give me some examples of what you'd use thing for?

Thanks!

Let's say you like to use part of a loop but not the whole thing. The Chopper is perfect for this purpose.

By using the tool's features, you can select only that part of the loop that you want and insert it instantly where the cursor is in the track view--repeatedly if you'd like. It's a great way to make cuts like drum breaks, etc.

You *could* use Sound Forge XP (comes with ACID Pro 3), but for a quick extraction of part of a loop, the Chopper's the way to go.

Did you check out the quick tutorial on SF's site? Go to SF's home page, click on the "Learn More" link and then click the "Beatmapper and Chopper" link in the window that pops up. There should be a "Chopper Tutorial." Good Luck!
