By using the tool's features, you can select only that part of the loop that you want and insert it instantly where the cursor is in the track view--repeatedly if you'd like. It's a great way to make cuts like drum breaks, etc. You could use Sound Forge XP (comes with ACID Pro 3), but for a quick extraction of part of a loop, the Chopper's the way to go.
