It seems that when they say "bundle", that is what it is. A bundle of software with no notes or instructions. Any tips on finding out where to put iZotope? I am running Windows 7 Ultimate and using Acid Pro 7. The mastering iZotope found the correct file for Sound Forge 10, but the Acid is lost... sparrow in chicago |

If you're talking about the Izotope Mastering Effects Bundle that comes with Soundforge, that set of plugs is unavailable outside of Soundforge. At least that's the way it is with SF9 and Acid 6. That's the way the licensing from Izotope is set up. Seems kind of strange that it's done that way but it is what it is. Another bummer is the MEB doesn't count for an upgrade if you want to upgrade to the full version of an Izotope product like Ozone or Alloy. Jack |

Actually, I have Mastering Effects Bundle 2 working fine in ACID Pro 7. (I'm using Sound Forge Pro 10.) You just add it as a VST FX like any other. There is online help for Mastering Effects but seems to only be available in Sound Forge when you click the "?" in its respective FX window. Each component is pretty straightforward once you get the hang of their controls (plus experiment). Iacobus |

Thanks you are right. And that works! The ACID Pro Effects Rack, powered by iZotope loads i'ts own program file and does not see the Acid shared plug-ins file, so you have to move it over to that folder and it comes up under Diretx. I don't see iZotope listed as a vendor. Both of the iZotope plug-ins also come up in Sound Forge (also the mastering one), for some reason they know where to go. I miss release notes! sparrow in chicago |

I recently upgraded OS to W7 64 bit and was dissappointed to find that Izotope Mastering FX were not available in Vegas 9 64 bit. I therefore installed the 32 bit version and there they are, but I've been hoping that a 64 bit version becomes available. |
