Subject:acid 3 crashes with a usb hard drive

anyone else have this problem? i've got all my samples on a usb hard drive which woks fine with acid 2 but when i try to access it with acid 3 it crahes my pc hard. sometimes it will let me hear the samples but usually it will crash when i open the explorer. i'm assuming it's a bug with the program couse the drive (buslink 20 gig) works fine with my other programs & windows 98se.
