I own both Vegas Video Pro and SoundForge 5.0. Each of these products have full MPEG support installed.

The new Batch tool keeps asking me to purchase MPEG support. Since the batch tool is part of SoundForge 5, shouldn't I be able to save in MP3 format without buying another license

Actually, MPEG and MP3 are two different things, but if youo're trying to work with MP3 in Batch Converter, you just need a new reg. code. You can call us anytime between Mon - Fri, 9am - 5pm at 1-800-577-6642 and we can set you up. MPEG currently only comes free with Vegas Video and VideoFactory.
