Subject:acid w/laptop

i'm trying to write some songs w/ acid and other software, and i'm getting in a slump and losing concentration front of my desktop computer.is anybody using acid w/ alaptop?what laptop?, what soundcard?i might what to add a midi contoller but not important.i want to use acid and laptop as scratchpad to get lyrics started and write songs.i will edit and fine tune with cubase in my desktop computer later.

I am using two laptops.

1 an old IBM Iseries think pad 300MHZ with 64mb of memory. No real problems running Acid 3.0

I also have a Dell Latitude 700mhx with 512MB again no problems.

I just use whatever sound cards these things came with as like you I transfer to a desktop when complete. My Dell has a built in CD/RW which really helps.
