Subject:Recording suddenly stops...

When I'm recording mixes from my turntables in Soundforge, it says I have over 2 hours of time left on the hard drive to record, but it always stops after a little over 46 minutes. Can anyone tell me why this happens and how I can fix it so I can record a full mix?

mine says the same thing. but i know better. i just look at what i have left and at aprox. 10 meg per minute (my estimate, i don't know the exact amount of 16 or 24 bit stereo uses) i divide and then just to be safe i'll go with about 90 % of that number as space available.
