I installed SF 5.0 on a new computer with win 2K Pro.
I get the following message when I open the program:
"WNetCachePassword could not be located in the dynamic link library MPR.dll." Is this something bad? I have tried recording and some of the tools with no problems yet, only this anoying message at the beguining (just after the splash screen). I click OK and then the program loads normally. Has anyone seen this message?,
and Is there a fix for it?

I'm running 5.0 on a win2k machine and have not seen this problem. The file "mpr.dll" is located in the C:/windows/system32 folder. It's a driver file, I would suggest renaming that file temporarily, uninstalling SF 5.0 and then reinstall. Maybe that file has gotten corrupted or something. Just a suggestion....I don't want to take responsibility if your PC blows up after this though...lol. It could be a conflict with another application running also, probably some CDR software driver is giving it hell.

the previous reply is a good idea but as all .dll's go you don't know how many programs depend on it so proceed with caution. my version of the file is an updated version from installing service pack 2. but i did not have that problem from the start so finding the newer version and replacing it might or may not help.
