Subject:Software to split .wav files

Does anyone know of any software that will split wav files. The reason I need this is I have hundereds of .wav files all of which contain a number of seperate samples which are seperated by a 2 second gap of silence. Any ideas?

You can use Sound Forge or just about any Wave editor
