Record while Hearing Previoulsy Recorded tracks -ACID Product Family

Subject:Record while Hearing Previoulsy Recorded tracks Posted by: gornackguy Date:7/17/2010 9:28:02 AM I'm using Acid Music Studio 7 and new here so please forgive my potentially nursery school level question.. The problem: I'm trying to monitor a previously recorded track while recording a new one but can't seem to figure it out. I'm using an M-Audio Fast Track Ultra 8R and a Gateway P6831-FX laptop running Vista 32 bit. The sound card is whatever is in the laptop. I know how to change the audio device in audio options to record and then back for monitoring but am stuck as described above. Hopefully its something simple. Many thanks, Curt curtweiss@yahoo.com
