Using same file twice

I am authoring a DVD for two dance recitals. I rendered both together and place in time-line. I did a end action at the end of the first show and then at the second. As it is supposed to do, it did not Double my DVD size. Now I am trying to insert the audio. When I do, the file size double and is way to large for the Disc.

I have done this before to save space with no problem. I thing the only difference is that the last time, I rendered the video and audio together.

So the question is "How can I add the same audio to the time-line without doubling the size?"

Does it actually double? Or does it just SAY that it doubles? Prepare the DVD and see how big the result actually is.

It says it doubles when I put the audio in one track in. So I wanted to see if it would double again when I put the audio on the other track.

I did this and it went back down. Yeah.

Thanks for the reply. My issue is resolved.

That's because in the interim between placing the audio on the first track and the second track, it thinks you want one with audio, and one without.

DVDA did exactly what it is supposed to do.
