Subject:Program Crashes When Trying To Open AVI File

Everytime I try to open an avi video file the program crashes out and gives me the following error message

FORGE caused an invalid page fault in
module AVIPLUG.DLL at 0177:5f9448a9.

Any ideas on how I can fix that.

To fix this, first use the Windows search utility to find AVIPLUG.DLL on your hard drive. Once you have found it, rename it to AVIPLUG.OLD and then reinstall Sound Forge. If you continue to have problems after doing this, please contact tech support.
