Subject:Unsupported WAVE sample format (Nero)

When saving a wave file in Sf 4.5, and trying to make an audio cd using Nero, i get the error "Unsupported WAVE sample format", i also get a similiar error in CDRWIN as well. Ive tried all different ways of saving this file to no prevail. Can someone please help me, this is quite urgent! :(

The file will have to be 16-bit with a sample rate of 44,100Hz in order to be burned to a CD. Check to see if this is the case, and make the necessary adjustments.

I believe Nero does not support 8 bit files, this is probably what you might be doing wrong. Like Ted says, convert the the file to 16 bit, using the bit depth converter in the process menu and then also use the sample rate converter to 44,100 Hz and then save the Wave file and you should be golden.
