Subject:Plugin Delay Compensation in Acid Pro 7?

Does Acid Pro7 compensate for playback delay introduced by some plugins?
I know Waves plugs report the delay in samples back to the host, but does ACID use this to re align the playback?

I wasn't able to find any answers in the manual, specs or knowledgebase

Acid pro has had delay comp since Acid 2.0....maybe 1.0 but i started with 2.0
