Word on the net is that the promised Batch Tool for SF 5 is out. Is it?

It is indeed. Check the Sonic Foundry download area.

It's getting a pretty lukewarm reception from this user, however. The interface is brand new and spiffy, but you can't do everything that you could do in the old one.
