dvd architect sony 5b slow

For some reason on both my computers, DVD arc is running very slow. This started last week. I have tried system restore, Defrag, Over 35 gigs free space.

I am trying to burn a standard DVD. Example would be just moving the courser to make chapter points takes up to 1 minute to show image at courser. Loading file on time line take up to 3 minutes.

Like I said, I even tried system restore.

I checked out my CPU graph and it is going crazy up and down, peaking etc. This is only when I am running DVD arc.

Does anyone know where I can find a earlier build for DVD arc?

Weird. And the restore is from before this weirdness started? Have you tried just reinstalling DVDA 5b?

At any rate, you can get earlier versions from here:

It sure is strange. I wonder if it is the redered file. I will render it again in Vegas 9 for DVD Arc without changing any settings.

If the media files are located on an external or network drive, Architect will run very slow.

I put it on the same internal drive. Still slow. Now I have no problems with HDV files and making Blu-Rays. Only problems with SD files.

I even tried putting DVD arc 5a and same problem.

It seems it was the file. Not sure why. I hit defaults and re-tweeked my render settings in Vegas 9.

Thanks
