Does anyone know why these files are produced with the wave file Also are they vital files? If not ,how do I prevent system from generating them

The .sfk files are the files that represent the shape of the waveform graphically - they are sometimes called "peak" files. I don't think you can prevent them being created and you wouldn't want to as then you wouldn't be able to see what you were doing.

They aren't vital - you can delete them if you want, but then the system will just have to re-create them the next time you open the file, which will take up unnecessary time. Much more efficient to just leave them be.

If their presence really offends you you can set preferences to make them hidden and/or delete them on close.
