I'm relatively new to Acid so I hope this isn't too naive a question, but, can any body tell me if it's possible to have 2 tempos simultaneously in one project? So different loops are running at different tempos. Also, can you run 2 different time signatures at the same time - so one track is in 4/4 and another is in 6/8 for example? Many thanks in advance. (I have Acid Pro 7). |

No, you can only have one tempo in a song at a time. I don't know of any DAW software that supports multiple simultaneous tempos. The only way I can see this working is if you treat one of the tempo files as a One Shot so that ACID won't try and conform them to the project tempo. ~jr |

Thanks very much - In appreciate the answer (even if it's not the one I would have liked). |

If the pitch range change is not to dramatic, try doubling or halving one of the loops lengths. I've done that with surprisingly unexpected but enjoyed results. |
