Subject:where are the loops?

a real newb question here. acid ms says it comes w/ 3000 loops. where are they and how do you access them?

They should be on the CD that you got when you bought it in a content folder. Browse the CD to find the folder and copy it to your hard drive.

what if you don't have the cd, as in i bought it as a download?

At one time there was an option to have a content CD shipped for a small shipping charge. What you get are the entire collection of demo samples from each of the loop libraries. You could download the same by visiting the loop library pages and downloading the 5 or 6 sample loops that are there. This is pretty much all the content CD is. If you really want to make some music, you need to purchase a few libraries so that you have enough of one style of loops to make music with. The content CD is just a sampler.

Yea the loops are on the CD you can get. You might want to contact sony and see if you can still get the CD even though you did not order it at the time. also you can go to this web site each week and get FREE loops already put in a song and then use the loops to make your own songs, there are new 8 packs put up each friday or saturday.. http://www.acidplanet.com/downloads/8packs/

If you downloaded the software, go to your account page, then click on your orders, look down the bottom of that page under downloadable content. You should see 3 drop down boxes, the first is AP7 content loops and songs 1097.3 mb the second 625 mb the third is the sampler with 1250 mb. Each will show 3 download attempt remaining. This should be available whether you ordered cd's with AP7 purchase or not.

Silly me, I thought they would be installed automatically with the rest of the software. Thanks for the tip. :) Yep, there they were right on the disk.
