im sorry if this has been asked a million times but i cant seem to find a refrence here in the forms. i cant seem to get acid pro 3.0 to sinc with my ASR10. i dont care who is the master or slave. im running the asr10 midi cables into the back of the pc. the preferences for sync, the only choice for generate midi timecode output is mpu401. generate midi clock settings is Microsoft GS Wavetable SW Synth (again, only choice) Trigger from midi timecode input device : mpu-401 (again, only choice) hmmmmm....so what an i missing here. i purchased this as a download lastnight, is there something i need to download and install? thanks |

The reason you only have a single choice for MIDI Clock is probably because you only have one choice selected on the MIDI Tab in Preferences. Go to Options > Preferences > MIDI tab and select the device you want to transmit MIDI Clock through. THen go back to the Sync tab and it should be listed in your drop list. It is suggested that ACID be used as your master device. ACID can be triggered from MTC but that just begins playback rather than following sync. Hope that helps. Happy mixing. Jenn |
