I need to know what kind of setup will allow me to record from an LP(How do I get LP music into my computer)is it... Turntable>soundcard or turntable>amp>soundcard ...I have received SoundForge 4.0 as a gift and the manual is very poorly written, there is no explanation or setup details..I am Lost!! Also, do I have to play the whole LP track by track? Can someone PLEASE help guide me in the right direction? If this helps, I have a Roland SCC1a sound card with 2 RCA plugs. Please reply or email me at gatezeddy@hotmail.com Thanks in advance eddy |

Hello, After you setup as Beatlefan described then download the new Sound Forge manual and read chapter 8 it's written much better and I don't think there's that much difference in the 5.0 manual you'll get the right idea. I would record each track separately to make separate files and info for each song. See ya |

Thanks guys! I will follow your instructions and hopefully won't have any problems. I will also download the latest manual and read that one too. Thanks again |
