Speech recognition programs are common, and have been readily available for a decade or more.

You should not use your personal email as your username.

Well, not sure what the original post was now, but for anyone interested, I use e-speaking on my XPs, a cheap ($15 - one station only, so I had to buy 2!) app that does the job just fine. Needs "training", but with good recording eqpt & a fairly standard accent (mine's a diluted Irish one), it seems to work fine (proofread essential of course), even if it is a little dated (no €, for example).
