Subject:Help Contacting Sony on Registration Problem

I apologize for posting here, but I can't find where to contact Sony electronically, and after being on hold twice this past week, I thought I would try here.

Does anyone have an e-mail address for a supervisor or someone in authority at Sony's support? Someone other than a regular customer service person.

I recently changed computers, and everything reinstalled correctly except for one program. Each time I try to register the program it's telling me the number is incorrect, yet a friend of mine, and I, have hand entered the number multiple times, even trying to replace Zero with letter-O, but no luck.

I'm really frustrated how Sony has built up a wall to defend themselves from legitimate customer service questions. If anyone would have an e-mail address I would be grateful so I can get back in business again. I've been down for several weeks.

At the top of the page you are now viewing there's a link called "My Account" - therein you can do lots of useful things - fairly self explanatory - use 'Technical Support' link to get assistance.

Copy and paste your SF serial number from 'My Account' > 'My Software' > from the above SCS header menu.
If you still get the same install error, I would call 'Customer Service' (not tech support) for this type of serial number issue.

Part of the problem is the Pull Down they have for products. One of my products, "Batch", does not have an entry in the pull down. Should I just put in my Sound Forge information and then say, "this is not for Sound Forge, but for Batch"?

When I did that a week ago I didn't get any reply, which I assumed someone at Sony just tossed it out. :(

I don't have a Batch, but I do have a listing for Batch Converter.

Notice that at the bottom of the My Softwre page, there's a section called Missing Products. You might want to try that.

Do note that after you may think you have 'sent' the support request, there is an additional page with FAQ type suggestions, and another button at the very bottom you have to click to actually lodge the request.

I also have a separate serial number listed for Batch Converter 5.0.
Sound Forge and Batch Converter are separate app.s, and although BC was included with SF, the serial numbers are not interchangeable.
Again, for serial number type issues, I would call Customer Service ( NOT tech. support ) on the phone. In my experience they have been very friendly and accommodating.
