Subject:Metadata question

I have several hundred wave files that I use at church. All of the songs, of course, have a file name that is quite descriptive. None of the songs have a "Title" included in what is called the metadata. I would like to know if there is any software (or easy way) that can extract the file names (without extensions) and populate the "Title" metadata field so that when I create a CD in SF 10 the titles will appear in the Track name area. When I use SF 9 and send the track to CD Architect, the title of the song went with it and populated the track name. I would like to make SF 10 my one stop create/edit/burn DAO application but do not want to type the file title text into the track name field everytime I create a CD. Your help is appreciated. Not 100% sure but you could try MP3tag. Please note there are no file names on an audio CD. Just the capability of CD text which is rarely utilized on play back machines. Jesse |
