Subject:"Application Failed to Start....."

I loaded AP7 Pro to my new i7 Machine with WIN 7 X64 O/S.
When I tried to open it, it gives me......
"Application failed to open because it's side-by-side
configuration is incorrect."
Anyone here know what that possibly means?

A cursory search on the Internet claims that is a Visual C++ issue, usually solved by installing the latest version. Might also want to uninstall and reinstall ACID Pro 7 if you haven't already.

Thanks for your response, mD

I checked around also. I uninstalled AP7 and reinstalled
with same results. I then loaded AP5 - Works Great!
Then I loaded AP6 - Works Great! Then I went for AP7....
Application Failed !!! "..side by side issue again.

Still looking for answers.....
