before i got firewire i used the dazzle dvc USB and i had to use their capture software. not bad but vegas will murder it when you render it take heed to use a small capture size to lessen the blurring when rendered. if you a large(the default size) it will look fuzzy when you render it to a smaller frame size.
with sf's capture and the digital domain everything better.
