I am considering one because of its small footprint.

How good is it with Acid and how do the markers/region area work on the faderport.

Thanks in advance

I already have a mackie control, it has 8 or 10 buttons for markers...how does that work compared to faderport.

Thanks in advance

The Faderport defines (lables) three buttons related to markers:
Prev, Next, and Insert. They are accessed using the Shift key. ACID maps these to the appropriate function. They can also be reassigned to do other functions.

The MCU has much more control over markers as it provides a random access.

What type of maker control were you looking for?

on the mackie control , I hit the buttons assigned to the markers/region 1-8 ...it makes working very easy.

I have a seperate region for the intro, the hook, the verse, 2nd hook....etc... this way i can work on diffrent parts.

Yep. The Mackie is nice with all of those buttons.

The Faderport doesn't have that level of detail. Serves a different purpose.
