Acid Pro and Studio Exception Error crashes -ACID Product Family

I have windows Vista 64 bit. No other DAW are on this machine. Can someone direct me to a fix? I need to work on a project and have used Acid for years. Thanks

Have you tried updating your video card's drivers? Are the other Sony apps working OK as well? Iacobus

(try filling in your profile so we know) You said you are using Vista 64 so do you have stable 64-bit audio drivers for your sound card. (that's a bit of an oxymoron because Vista 64-bit drivers were anything but stable. I don't think M-Audio ever got their drivers out of beta before Windows 7 arrived). If it doesn't play a sound, it's probably the audio drivers. Hopefully Peter will see this because only the Sony developers can decipher a program dump. Personally, I wouldn't use Vista for any serious audio work. I would upgrade to Windows 7 or downgrade to XP. Vista was just a horror show and I'm glad it's gone. ~jr

I have Sony Vegas Pro 9d, Sony sound forge studio, and dvda 5 installed. No other DAW are on this machine. Can someone direct me to a fix? I need to work on a project and have used Acid for years.
