What is this???? First Ted tells us to contact customer support because no one looks here, then I'm supposed to have free 60 or 90 day support and it won't let me e-mail them. Their software is buggy and they make no aknowledgement of our complaints! You can't contact them without paying, and you all LIKE Sonic Foundry? I'm going back to Syntrillium! At least they help and appreciate their cutomers. I want Sonic Foundry to prove me wrong about them! |

It's not that no one looks here. Tech support reps check in regularly, as do other employees from engineering and our testing department. It's just that this forum is primarily for user-to-user discussion and support. If you need technical support, it's best to email support@sonicfoundry.com, or to use our web form to submit your problem. Both avenues are free, and go to the same support reps. When you register a pro product with us, you receive 60 days of free support. We also offer a support plan that covers all of our product for a year. You can find more information about this on the site. We are constantly working to improve our software, and when we receive reports of issues, we do work to fix them. |

You can always e-mail us directly (e-mail support is always free) at support@sonicfoundry.com. There should be nothing preventing you from using that, the e-mail address definitely works. If you have recently registered one of our pro products for the first time, you are eligible for free phone support. If you are not sure if you have free support available to you, feel free to call 1-800-577-6642 and we can look up your registration and give you the appropriate phone number to call. Ted |

Lance, Ted, thank you for your responses. But I tried to E-mail you early this morning and it kept telling me to enter a support number, and that if I didn't have one to leave it blank. I left it blank and it would not allow me to e-mail my complaint. That's when I came here. |
