Hi! Acid is absolutely kool! I started looking at the other applications that came with my Acid Pro 3.0 purchase -- Sound Forge XP and Vegas Audio LE... they look like scaled down versions of Acid. Do they really do something different? Thanks! Rusty Williamson |

Sound Forge lets you edit individual loops and WAV files. This is really good if you copy a loop from a CD or you make one yourself. You can edit it and add effects etc. It does wonders for my off key singing since you can adjust pitch.. I have not used Vegas but it's purpose is to allow you to add music to videos. The videos display across the top and you sync up with your music. Tony |

vegas is actually a multi-track recorder. it looks similar to acid and has some of the same features but is more geared to 'linear' recording as opposed to functioning as a loop sequencer. |
